"Car-baby"--A Tiny Kid With BIG Personality Ends up "In the Doghouse." Really.

Yummy Sweet Corn!

Tuckered out.
Carson has been climbing the stairs since he was about 8 or 9 months old. Eric rigged up a removeable board across the bottom of the stairs to keep him downstairs. It worked! --For a couple of weeks. Then he learned to climb over it. I finally decided the best thing to do was to teach him how to get back downstairs after he went up. He is now 18 months old and so far has only fallen twice-the first time he fell was down about three steps. The second time I believe he was pushed-he fell all the way down from the landing, and when I went to investigate, big brother was standing at the top of the stairs looking guilty.
Enjoying-REALLY enjoying-birthday cake.

Professor Strong has all the answers. Looking cool with a little help from mom and dad. Finally, in the doghouse-literally. There were seven kids here running around, so it was easy for Carson and his cousin to slip off unnoticed. After the alert went out to the big people that Carson was missing, we looked everywhere to no avail. I was standing near the doghouse, and thought just maybe....Sure enough! Aaron and Carson were enjoying a snack of not-so-ripe apples they found on the ground from the tree in the backyard. I guess they thought if they hid in the doghouse they could sneak more bites of yucky apples before someone found them.

Too funny, Elizabeth. You sure do have your hands full... but enjoy every minute you can. They'll soon be talking about another important lady in their lives and leaving your "nest"... and that will make you want to cry.
